Scottish Highland Athletics
The Longs Peak Scottish Irish Highland Festival in Estes Park, Colorado, presents a full range of traditional Scottish Highland athletics.
Rooted in centuries-old traditions, these events reflect the strength and skill once demonstrated by blacksmiths, woodcutters, and warriors. Competitors test their abilities by throwing hammers, cabers, and stones—continuing a legacy that traces back through the history of the Scottish Highlands.
